Will I receive any special certificates or qualifications?
Yes. Upon satisfactory completion of the program, you will be granted a Concorde Career College Associate of Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy. Additionally, the Respiratory Therapy program at Concorde Career College – Aurora has received its "Letter of Review" from the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), 1248 Harwood Road, Bedford, TX, 76021, (817) 283-2835, in conjunction with Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs, (CAAHEP), 1361 Park Street, Clearwater, FL, 33756, (727) 210-2350, www.caahep.org. This is part of the accreditation process. Students graduating from the program will be allowed to sit for their appropriate credentialing examination if all other admission requirements are met by the individual. Graduates of this program will also be eligible and prepared to take the National Board of Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist Written Exam (also called Entry Level Exam). As a graduate you will hold Healthcare Provider CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
